Secret for you
Good afternoon,
Ah such good memories of last years ZAG season. This year will be just as exciting for Gonzaga Basketball!
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the real reason I was posting this blog was to let you know that notes from today are up and that we will have a!!!!
FLASH NEWS!! QUICK QUIZ tomorrow.. yes in deed! I usually don't let you know but I am this time.. better study those notes... it won't be a big/long/hard quiz but I would suggest you study!
Things are moving along, the school year has started and remember you can make this year the best! You can choose quality work and effort! I know you can but you have to make that choice!
Have a great rest of the week and remember that you are amazing people with great things yet to do in your life!
Mr. Rott
Also, today is a special day, for many reasons... we should never forget those who were lost on 9/11 and those who worked so hard to rescue and save people. It was truly an amazing what so many did, giving of their selves to help people they did not even know or had ever seen before. It really shows how incredible we are as a Nation!

every night!
I look forward to all the wonderful things we will do
together this year!

Finding the area of an Apartment
Since it's the end of the year figured students should start thinking about moving out on their own! HA!! NO WAY.. they are way to young! But we did spend the period working on arranging furniture into an apartment and what the square footage would be with 4 rooms. Here are a few pictures of 2nd and 4th period. There are more in the picture tab!

Almost summer time!
Yes we are bouncing into math.. but actually we are almost bouncing out of math for a summer break! Thanks to our great classroom helpers this year. They have kept the pig in great shape this year... and here is their latest!
So guess what?? We have tests on Wednesday... and we will probably only have one mroe test this year.. wow!! how fun will that be so MA remember multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers. MB remember know your slope formula and also calculating slope from graphs! If you study a LOT then just think you won't have to take a second test and I won't have to make it! Lets help each other out!
Make good choices!

Class notes are up for this week... lots going on in class! TEST ALERT THIS COMING MONDAY!! MA Add Subtract Mixed numbers and MB Calculating SLope from Graphs! It seems many of you choose NOT to study for the tests based on what you say and on your grades! Remember you have a short amount of time to retake the tests or your original grade will count. That means that 80% of your grade is based on those test scores!!! EASY FIX - STUDY!

Math A, 2nd and 4th
Period: CHAPTER TEST Estimating Fractions & Mixed Numbers
Monday! This week we finish up estimating with getting ready for adding and subtracting fractions next week! Ah just love those fractions!
Math B, 5th period
CHAPTER TEST On Recursive Equations Monday !!
We will be finishing up
recursive equations this week with our test on Monday. We then will be
moving into input output tables from equations... now doesn’t sound like FUN!
ZAGS...
After winning ALL of their conference games ( yeah easy conference huh! Well they still had to win every game!) and being ranked NATIONALLY #1 for the last three weeks of the season... and making it as a #1 seed in the tournament.. there were a LOT of teams that didn't even achieve one of those FANTASTIC accomplishments!
I say, the Zags went out every night and played.. where they were ranked and placed in the national rankings or the tournament rankings was not their issue.. playing basketball is was and every day and every night they gave their best, that is ALL we can ask of anyone! Until next season!!
Even though life can
seem to be wild and crazy... or that you're lost in a jungle.. Keep pressing
forward! And always remember, you are amazing, incredible people with the whole
world waiting to be changed by YOU!
