Updates on things

Getting closer to Gonzaga Men's Basketball!
Happy Thursday… well actually it’s our Friday… we have tomorrow off… ahhhhhhhhhhhh everyone was excited – teachers included!

We will be taking our Compare and ordering decimal test for 4th period on Monday and 6th period on Tuesday.  Please study… I mean really study!

So you will know: If your student or a student does score at last 70% or higher on a summative assessment, they must retake their test within two weeks.  Each student will have a retake packet that I send home that I would like you to sign which will include the name of the test and your student's percentage score. Please let me know if you have any questions about the retake plan.

Also, I have finally figured out how to add pdfs to my blog.. it was pretty simple actually… anyhow you will find a new tab with a link that will take you to a pdf of the homework.  The instructions for the homework will be up in the right hand corner and again if you have any questions please let me know.

Also part two:  I have the lessons that we are working on located under another tab.  In case you can’t find your lesson at home and you have access to the blog you can always find the lesson right there!

Also part three:  I have posted grades, I only have a few papers yet to correct and post…

Have a great day off.. and enjoy the sun ( hopefully it will be out)!

Week of 9/16-20 in Mr. Rott's Room

You nose (hahahahha) it's time to think about how you want your school year to go.  We have had 2 quizzes and we will have more this week... so take the time to study and be responsible!  If you work& study every day you will find that things will be much easier for you than just cramming - which is not really studying!

This week we will be finishing place value, numbers sense and having a test either on Friday or Monday.

Keep good notes, like we have talked about in class and this will help you prepare for a quiz or test!

Have a wonderful week and I am excited about the things we will learn this week!

You are AMAZING and TERRIFIC people!
