Tough Loss for the Zags vs. Butler... But we are still ranked #10!  Can't complain about that.. plus it was a great game!

Welcome back!
I hope your Christmas break was fantastic... mine was... slept in, went to the movies, out to eat and just enjoyed every minute!!! Plus Santa was good to me so that must mean I have been a very good boy!!!!

The ZAGS continue to win... and some very exciting games... can’t wait to see how they do once March Madness starts... final four????

You have 14 school days before grades are due.  That means if you are not doing well please be responsible and get those grades up!

Notes are up for today... we will again have test retakes on Friday and Monday... MATH A has a test on Equivalent Fractions... MATH B will have a test on Solutions to Linear Equations a week from this Thursday...

Santa made an early stop in Mr. Rott's room and went caroling with his students here they are in Ms. Bucks class... Great day... great little elves!

Now.... No  being a  Grinch.. ok so the Zags lost to Illinois... or really they could have won.. if they had the shots go in... it was a sad night... but there is always another game!

Test retakes on Friday.. please be responsible and have your packets ready... 

A week from today we will be one day away from Christmas Break.. .ah two weeks off.. hopefully you've been a good boy and girl and  you will get something from Santa!

SEE CLASS NOTES FOR TEST HELP! ACTUALLY STUDY YOUR NOTES EVERY NIGHT!  Not silent night.. study night hahahahaha I am  so funn!

The guys were working hard last night and just barely won... wow was that a close - to close of a finish!!!!  But the Zags continue their great play and are now 9 wins and NO losses! Way to go!

Now back to math... test make up tomorrow - see your note section for notes and also your own notes for the test.  You MUST have your test retake packet complete with your parents signature before you can retake the test.. I do this so that they know how you have done on your test and they can also help you study.  You are not 6th graders and I expect more out of you as 8th graders!! A LOT more!

12/5/12 20 Days till Christmas

Ok Jungle Adventures … I know it’s been a while BUT… Mr. Rott has been way busy so it’s been hard to keep with our blog.  But here are some things to consider

Test Retakes are every Friday… but you must have your packets completed!

New material test will be on Mondays…

If you do not bring your test retake forms back… then it will be, “your bad.”  Also, if you are not getting your test packets done.. another “your bad”  and then I will have to help you remember!

Also, we have 20 days till Christmas… which means we are getting closer to our Christmas break… meaning grades are coming up pretty soon so get those tests studied for!

GONZAGA… wow.. the guys are hot as Rudolph’s nose on a cold winter night!  They just keep winning and  winning… very exciting… and there is talk that they will be a part of the final four!  Ahhhhhhhhhhh now that would be so exciting…

Test:  FRIDAY!!  Be there or be square.  You know which test you need to take and no test retakes if your packet is not done!

WELCOME TO OUR JUNGLE SAFARI! Class Blog 11/5/12
Hello fellow Jungle adventures!  There is no blog homework this week and  I will be gone to a conference on Thursday and Friday so don’t be to wild and please do not put the sub in a boil pot of water!  You are not that wild!

I  have noticed that you are not, really, you are not putting much time into your test prep.  We go over the material in class and you have access to notes on our blog and even printed notes if you ask, but I  am concerned about some of your grades.  Besides that, I am also worried that you're not taking the RESPONSIBILITY to learn habits for studying and high school is just around  the corner!  PLEASE take the time to STUDY!

Math A, 2nd and 4th Period:
This week we will be working on going over notes for an estimating decimals test on Friday along with starting to work on GCF... factors all about facts!

Math B, 5th period:
We will be working on getting ready for a linear equations test on Thursday and also starting to  work on solving linear equations with one variable... VARY fun stuff .. hahahaha get it vary! haha oh so funny!
